Tribeca Pediatrics was founded in 1994 -by Dr. Michel Cohen. in his storefront loft where he lived with his wife and three kids in Tribeca . In a homey environment ,his goal was to deliver the best medical care with a low intervention approach . By providing a very personalized service with home visits and close follow up, Dr Michel was able to develop his very popular practice which is now sought after by many parents in New York City .

Drawing upon his extensive experience, Dr. Michel's common sense philosophy has evolved into what is now a popular parenting book among parents and doctors, The New Basics: A-Z Childcare for Babies and Parents a parenting book with a clear message " less medicine is often the best medicine"

 
Over the last fourteen years Dr Michel was joined buy other doctors and nurse practitioners who all share his philosophy. To accommodate the demand from parents from Tribeca and other neighborhoods, Tribeca Pediatrics has expanded with branches in, Boerum Hill and Williambsburg Like the main office in Manhattan, each satellite has a hip and playful design, with plenty of artwork, toys, books and lollipops which makes it a place where everyone loves to come.
