Q&A with Sherly Antoine

How did you get into pediatrics?
I’ve always had a strong passion for working with children. During college, I gained experience by working in after school programs which further solidified my desire to pursue pediatrics. After graduating from NYCCT and becoming a Registered Nurse, my first job was with the pediatric population and now as a Nurse Practitioner I’ve been dedicated to this field ever since. The opportunity to make a positive impact in children’s lives is what truly drives my passion for pediatrics.

I’m from Brooklyn, NY, born and raised!

Where do you live?
I still live in Brooklyn NY!

What do you enjoy most about working in your neighborhood office?
I will be working at the East Williamsburg location! Excited to serve the community there and the good food of course!

What keeps you motivated?
Seeing the resilience of young patients and knowing that I can help them through challenging times and making at least a little difference in the children’s lives and their families keeps me motivated.

What do you do for fun?
For fun I like to workout and take different classes like Boxing and Pilates. I’m a big NY Knicks fan and love attending basketball games when I can!
