You can register your child today, even if your baby is not yet born.

For newborns, the first appointment is typically scheduled 3-5 days after birth. Give us a call and we will accommodate whatever is needed for your family and new baby.

For older kids, we can schedule a same day sick visit, if needed. For well visits, we encourage families to send their previous medical records prior to scheduling a well visit, so that we have a medical and vaccine history, however our team will work with families who are not able to obtain their previous medical records so that is not a barrier to receiving care.

We encourage families to see the same pediatrician or nurse practitioner to develop a personal relationship. All of our providers share similar approaches and styles, consistent with the low-intervention philosophy of Tribeca Pediatrics.

Twenty minutes on average. However, the doctor will not leave the room until all your questions have been answered, and you feel comfortable with the guidance provided.

We understand that your time is valuable, so we consistently monitor our wait times to keep them under twenty minutes.

The purpose of routine or “well” visits are to examine your child and monitor growth and development. A large part of the routine check-ups are focused on guidance and providing support as your child grows and reaches different milestones in their development. Before each well visit, you will receive an email of what to expect at the visit, so that you can be prepared.

We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) vaccine schedule, and all our vaccines are Thimerosal free. Immunizations are administered at the end of appointments, after a discussion of the benefits and possible side-effects.

While it can be frustrating when parents choose not to vaccinate their children, it’s crucial to remember that vilifying them or denying them medical care is not the solution. Our practice chooses education and engagement as our primary tools to address vaccine hesitancy. This approach has proven to be incredibly effective in fostering trust between families and their pediatricians, ultimately leading to higher vaccination rates overall.

In alignment with AAP recommendations, we avoid discharging patients solely due to vaccine refusal. By maintaining open lines of communication, providing compassionate care, and meeting parents where they are, we continue to make strides in promoting vaccination and good, comprehensive health choices.

We offer same-day sick visits at all of our offices as well as evening and weekend hours. We also have late night virtual visits available.

Parents of our practice appreciate the convenience of having access to on-the-spot support in emergency situations. You can directly reach a provider or nurse by phone at any time of the day, night, or weekend.

Call the office to make a phone appointment for later in the day. A doctor or a nurse will call you back at a specified time to discuss your concerns. You can also send us an email with your questions, and a provider will get back to you.
