Q&A with Steffi Shilly

How did you get into pediatrics?
I was always interested in working in healthcare. My passion for Pediatrics grew during my time spent as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit nurse. It was rewarding to make a difference for children and their families during a vulnerable time. I wanted to become a Pediatrics NP to instill healthy measures in children from a young age so they can have the best quality of life. Children and resilient and the best!

What do you enjoy most about working in your neighborhood office?
I enjoy interacting with the children and their families!

What keeps you motivated?
My patients keep me motivated. I always strive to provide them the best care I can by constantly keeping myself knowledge regarding the most up-to-date evidence and interventions.

What do you do for fun?
I love to travel! I am a big foodie and love to try new foods and restaurants. I also enjoying reading and working out!
