Tribeca Pediatrics believes all children and families should have opportunities to reach their full potential. As a neighborhood practice, Tribeca Pediatrics is dedicated to being a community partner with a special focus on those most in need. Through our Community Giving Program, we are committed to supporting initiatives that increase access to the arts, education, community empowerment and wellness.

  • Each year Tribeca Pediatrics provides $25,000 in school partnership grants towards innovative and impactful initiatives that serve children. Grants up to $5,000 are awarded to projects that promote and foster engaging learning environments and experiences. We are open to creative and out of the box ideas!
    We have a rolling deadline with awards announced quarterly.

    Eligibility Guidelines
    Tribeca Pediatrics uses the following guidelines as a basis for our Community Giving Program:
    • Partnerships with non-profits are encouraged.
    • Benefited school community must be located in New York City and be with a designated public school within the New York City Department of Education.
    • Initiative, project or event benefits children or fulfills a recognized need within the community as a whole.
    • If selected, all grantees will need to submit updates and reports of their programs and impact. Media waivers will be required.

  • Tribeca Pediatrics provides $25,000 in college scholarships for high school seniors residing in the communities we serve who plan on entering the healthcare field. Awards are based on merit and need; amounts range from $500 to $5,000.

    Requirements:
    • Current high school senior with minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
    • Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, not-for-profit, four-year university, during the fall of a scholarship cycle (2019)
    • US Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, DACA or Eligible Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA)
    • Complete FAFSA or state based financial aid application (if applicable)

Greatness in Healthcare Scholarship

Tribeca Pediatrics also provides $25,000 in college scholarships for high school seniors residing in the communities we serve who plan on entering the healthcare field. High school seniors can apply for amounts  $500 – $5000, dependent on need. We are no longer accepting applications for 2019.

At Tribeca Pediatrics our staff reflects the diversity of our city and we are committed to being a resource to parents, childcare providers, educators and children in and out of our offices.   Schools, Community Based Organizations and PTAs can request our pediatricians to speak on health topics or join a career day!  We love connecting with the community and want to hear from you.

Through our partnerships with Little Essentials and Immigrant Families Together Tribeca Pediatrics extends a helping hand for parents in need.

Little Essentials offers at-risk families living in poverty urgently needed children’s supplies and parenting education to promote the health, wellbeing and safety of their children under five years of age. To find out more, click here.

Little Essentials

Immigrant Families Together (IFT) is a rapid response group of volunteers who raise money to bond out and provide legal support and essentials for families separated at the border. Tribeca Pediatrics is proud to partner with this group to help provide essential medical services to these children.
