Q & A with Dr. Carmen Lebron

How did you get into pediatrics?
Pediatrics is a happy specialty. It is also a privilege to be trusted by parents and to be an advocate for little ones.

Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, relocated to NYC 37 years ago.

Where do you live?
I became a Union, NJ resident two and a half years ago.

What do you enjoy most about working in your neighborhood office?
Being of service to my community and neighbors is important to me.

What keeps you motivated?
It is a privilege to be a pediatrician, a role and responsibility that I hold in high regard.

What do you do for fun?
I have many hobbies: I love to sing and play the guitar, exploring our state’s bike trails, sewing and crocheting baby hats and blankets. My husband and I are soon to be the adoptive parents of a rescue puppy from Puerto Rico, which I’m sure will keep us busy too!
