Q&A with Lizbeth Barba

How did you get into pediatrics?
I became interested in pediatrics during my pediatric rotation in nursing school. I was intrigued with how resilient children are and how interesting it is to watch children grow and meet their developmental milestones. I quickly determined that pursuing a career in pediatrics would be my ultimate goal.

What do you enjoy most about working in your neighborhood office?
Building relationships with patients and their families.

What keeps you motivated?
My family, patients, coworkers, and aspiration to provide the utmost care to my patients.

What do you do for fun?
I love nature and parks. I enjoy taking my kids to parks, exploring new places, traveling to different places, trying new food and spending quality time with my family.
