Q&A with Dr. Anupama Dwarki

How did you get into pediatrics?
I’ve always loved working with children. They have the best hearts and see the world in this big vast rainbow of possibilities. If I can help shape them into the amazing person that they can be, I will know that my work is meaningful and fulfilling!

Where did you grow up?
I moved around a lot with my family when I was a kid, but we finally settled in Massachusetts! New England fall weather cannot be beat and it is a place I love to go back to whenever I get the chance.

Brooklyn, NY!

What do you look forward to most about working in your neighborhood office?
I look forward to working with the Park Slope community, working with the team at the office, and being a part of a collaborative group of providers! I am excited to be in one of my favorite places doing what I love the most, which is helping kids stay happy, healthy, and be the best versions of themselves!

What keeps you motivated?
Learning every day from my patients and parents about new products, topics or even just seeing my patients grow up to become avid members of the community, helps keep me motivated.

What do you do for fun?
I am a foodie so I love trying out new restaurants. I also love hanging out with friends; finding new coffee shops; spending time with family; reading; watching movies/TV.
