Q&A with Drew Kesterman
How did you get into pediatrics?
As the oldest child, and daughter of a kindergarten teacher, I was never not surrounded by kids! Luckily, I loved kids – I had a natural ease working with and relating to children of all ages and was certain I wanted to work with kids in my future career. During my undergraduate education as a Psychology major, my interest in early childhood development and family systems flourished. As I continued to clinical practice my passion for caring for children and their families persisted, I love that I get to do just that every day!
Where did you grow up?

What do you enjoy most about working in your neighborhood office?
Building relationships with children and their families!
What keeps you motivated?
Working as a part of a team, making a difference for my patients, and understanding that there is always something new to learn.
What do you do for fun?
I played soccer in college, and I love being active. Whether it is going on walks, going to workout classes, or playing sports with friends, I just can’t sit still! I also love trying new food spots and spending time with family and friends. My favorite place to relax is at the beach!
