Q&A with Dr. Kathleen Aguilar
How did you get into pediatrics?
I have always known I wanted to be a pediatrician! I grew up with severe asthma that with great medical management and patient education went into remission by my teenage years. I experienced first hand how limiting poor health can be and the significant impact that thoughtful care can have on a child and family’s life. Also, kids are so much fun! From baby giggles to the teenage years, there’s never a boring day! It is an absolute joy to walk with a family through all the stages of their child’s growth and it is an honor to be trusted to help care for children during times of illness.
