Q & A with Kristina Waters

How did you get into pediatrics?
My first job as a RN was in mother/baby and I loved it. I enjoyed all of my Pediatric courses and knew once I became a Nurse Practitioner I wanted to work in Pediatrics!

Where did you grow up?
Central Jersey.

Where do you live?
Hoboken.

What do you enjoy most about working in your neighborhood office?
I love everything Hoboken has to offer. I enjoy the city feel but with a tight knit community atmosphere. As a Hoboken resident, I feel connected to the energy, people, and places!

What keeps you motivated?
I truly enjoy being able to provide children and their families with continuous education from a patient’s infancy through adolescence. Children are our future, and it’s an incredibly rewarding experience to be part of their support system as they learn and grow.

What do you do for fun?
I love going to fitness classes, walking along the waterfront, and spending time with my husband, family, and my two Shih Tzus, Jordan and Jetson.
