How did you get into pediatrics?
I chose pediatric medicine because I believe that early intervention and education are the most powerful tools we have in shaping lifelong health. I’m passionate about teaching families and children about nutrition, wellness, and healthy habits from a young age. What drew me to pediatrics specifically is the opportunity to partner with families in building those foundations. I also find real joy in the creativity, curiosity, and resilience of children. Working with them allows me to approach medicine with playfulness and imagination, which keeps me grounded and reminds me why I went into this field in the first place.

What do you look forward to most about working in your neighborhood office?

I really value the relationships that form over time and the chance to be a steady presence in a child’s life. Teamwork also plays a big role. Being part of a supportive, collaborative group makes the challenges feel manageable and reminds me that we’re all in this together. To stay resilient, I try to reflect regularly, set healthy habits for myself, and make space for joy — whether it’s a quick walk in nature or just sharing a laugh with a patient. Kids have a way of keeping things real and reminding me why I love this work.
What do you enjoy doing for fun?
Outside of work, I really enjoy spending time outdoors — whether it’s going for a run, hiking, or just soaking up some fresh air. I love being around friends and f
