Q&A with Dr. Michelle Sutanto

How did you get into pediatrics?
The combination of advocacy, partnership, and opportunity to have fun at work really drew me to pediatrics during my medical school rotations!

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Maryland, so I’m an East Coast girl at heart, just with a little detour to Texas for my training!

Where do you live?
Downtown Brooklyn!

What do you look forward to most about working in your neighborhood office?
I am so excited to start seeing patients in such close-knit offices. I love connecting with patients and parents – these relationships are at the core of how I find meaning in my work!

What do you do for fun?
I love reading, making cheese and charcuterie boards, and pilates!
