Q&A with Dr. Molly Kidder

How did you get into pediatrics?
As a teen, I was inspired by my pediatrician who made a big impact on my life. My interest in pediatrics grew further during my work in pediatric food allergy research after college and through my clinical rotations in medical school. I find working with children and their families not only incredibly rewarding and inspiring, but also so much fun!

What do you enjoy most about working in your neighborhood office?
It’s such a privilege to build meaningful relationships with children and families who are not only my patients but also my neighbors. Being part of their lives and the community makes the work even more fulfilling.

What keeps you motivated?
Continuing to learn in the ever-evolving world of medicine and watching my patients grow into healthy and happy children and young adults

What do you do for fun?
I enjoy baking, running, traveling, and—most of all—being with my family.
