Q&A with Nicole Rivera-Rodriguez

How did you get into pediatrics?
During my education, I found myself most energized during pediatric rotations. Working with children and their families showed me how powerful education and reassurance can be in shaping a child’s health and well-being. Helping families feel confident and watching children thrive is what I’m most excited to carry into my career.

Where did you grow up?
I was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Connecticut.

Where do you live?
I now live in Jersey City, NJ.

What do you enjoy most about working in your neighborhood office?
I am motivated by the people who support me most—my family and friends—and by my enduring commitment to ensuring others feel welcomed, safe, and valued.

What keeps you motivated?
Seeing my patients healthy and happy!

What do you do for fun?
I love finding new restaurant or brunch spots in my area, and running.
