Flu Vaccines – Scheduling Open on the Portal

We hope you had a great back-to-school season and are settling into routines! As flu season is approaching, we’re ready to offer flu vaccines across our offices for the 2026–2027 season.

Flu vaccine appointments are now available to schedule through the Patient Portal. If your child already has a well visit scheduled this fall, there is no need to make a separate appointment for their flu vaccine. Your child can receive their flu shot during their visit, and siblings accompanying them can also receive their vaccine.

As a convenience, we are offering the flu vaccine to parents for $60. We are not accepting insurance for parents’ flu vaccines. There is no need for parents to schedule their own flu shots in advance. Parents can register and pay at the front desk before your child’s visit, if they choose to receive the flu shot from Tribeca.

A few things to know:
• Flu vaccination is recommended annually for children 6 months and older.
• Children 6 months through 8 years old who are receiving the flu vaccine for the first time, have previously received only one dose, or have an unknown vaccination history may need two doses this season, given at least four weeks apart.
• The flu vaccine can be given at the same visit as other recommended vaccines.
• After your child’s visit, an updated vaccine record can be accessed through the Patient Portal.

New COVID-19 Vaccine
Similar to last year, we are following the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines and offering the new COVID vaccine to all patients 6 months and older. This policy also aligns with recommendations from the New York and New Jersey Departments of Health.

Once we receive our supply of this year’s COVID vaccine, we will send an email letting parents know that scheduling is open. Patients will also be able to receive the COVID vaccine at their well visits.
